It's Lovely to Meet You!

Hi, I’m Anita Meyer, the owner of Mindful Energy Wellness.

​

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and have had the privilege of working in many different areas of healthcare. Over the years, I’ve discovered that my true passion lies in supporting people through life’s ups and downs — whether it’s navigating a weight management journey, moving through big life transitions, or simply finding your way back to who you are at your heart.

At Mindful Energy Wellness, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with yourself — one mindful step at a time.

 

I’ve had my own personal struggles with mental health and come from a place of genuine understanding and compassion. As a nurse, I’ve supported people through some of their most vulnerable moments. In caring for others, I discovered my passion for meaningful connection — but I also learned what happens when we forget to care for ourselves.

 

After reaching a point of burnout and guilt for not “keeping it all together,” I found the courage to ask for help. It was one of the hardest, yet most empowering choices I’ve made — and I honour that same courage in you.

Through my own healing, I learned that true wellness is more than physical health; it’s about nurturing the mind, body, and spirit.

Alongside my BScN and Honours BA in Sociology, I’m certified in CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, Mindfulness, Meditation, Breathwork, Yoga, and Reiki. I bring these approaches together to help you reconnect with your best self in a safe, compassionate space.

​

To this day, I continue my own therapeutic work through regular check-ins and support during life’s transitions — because growth is a lifelong journey.

I look forward to walking alongside you on yours. 

What to expect from a session

Therapy with me is a space of guidance, support, and genuine connection. Together, we may share laughter, tears, quiet pauses, and moments of celebration.

​

The process of healing is not linear — there will be days of clarity and days of chaos. Through it all, you will be met with compassion, curiosity, and unwavering support. There is no pressure to have it all figured out; we’ll move at your pace, honoring your unique journey along the way.

I will hold space for you and meet you exactly where you are — reflecting your growth, acknowledging your transitions, and keeping space for the dreams that continue to guide you forward.
